Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then go to Subscriptions. Find Tides in the list and tap Cancel Subscription.
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. We are unable to cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Tides purchase, and select the option to report a problem.
Apple's standard refund policy applies. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
All your data is stored locally on your device. It can be lost if the app was deleted, your device was reset, or storage was cleared. Because there is no cloud backup, we are unfortunately unable to recover lost data.
We recommend using the Export feature (found in the Setup tab) regularly to keep a backup of your data as a JSON file.
Not currently. Tides stores all data locally on a single device and does not sync across multiple iPhones or to iCloud. Cross-device sync is something we may explore in a future update.
If you're switching to a new phone, use the Export function to save your data, then import it on your new device.
Tides generates predictions based on the cycle data you enter and average cycle lengths. The more data you log over time, the more relevant the estimates become.
Predictions are estimates only and should not be used for medical, contraceptive, or fertility decisions. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice.
Spicier Content is an optional mode that presents tips and suggestions in a more comedic, adult-humour tone. It is purely for entertainment and does not change any of the underlying cycle data or predictions.
It can be toggled on or off at any time in the app's Settings tab.
Your data never leaves your device. Tides has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We have no technical ability to access your information because we never receive it.
The only external communication Tides makes is with Apple's App Store infrastructure to verify your subscription — this contains no personal data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Both options are in the Setup tab inside the app. Tap Export to download a JSON file of all your data. Tap "Wipe everything" to permanently delete all data from the app.
Deleting the app from your device also removes all associated data. There is no cloud backup, so deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
